Osinbajo planning to hand over to Tinubu - Femi Fani-Kayode
At a press briefing in Abuja today, the spokesperson of the PDP
Presidential campaign organization PDPPCO, Femi Fani-Kayode alleged that
a Chieftain of the APC, Bola Tinubu has compelled the Vice Presidential
candidate of the APC, Prof Osinbajo to swear to an oath that he would
resign as Vice President six months after inauguration (if their party
wins) so that he can scheme his way into power if Gen Buhari dies in
office. What he said below...

"Troops have finally routed terrorists from Bara, the Headquarters of Gulani LGA of Yobe State and Gulag, the Headquarters of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State in the early hours of today, Friday. The fierce fighting that preceded the clearing of towns and other communities resulted in appreciable casualties on the terrorists, the capture of some of them, the recovery and destruction of arms, thousands of assorted rounds ammunition as well as vehicles and other equipment including; Anti-Aircraft Guns, General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs), Grenades, Multi-barrel bombs, Multi-barrel Grenade Launchers, rifles and mortar guns.
Other locations also cleared in the course of the two days operation include, Shikah, Fikayel, Tetebah, Buza, Kamla and Bumsa.

Spooky moment 1yr old girl is suddenly 'pulled to the ground by 'ghost'
The eerie moment a one year old girl was
pulled to the ground by an unseen force was captured on camera and it's
a little scary. Little Lexi Hood was playing peek-a-boo with her
parents in their home in Wales when she was suddenly knocked
to the ground. Lexi's dad said Lexi said 'naughty boy' after she was
knocked down as if she was telling someone off. See the video after the

A mobile policeman in Bauchi state shot dead his superior and former ADC
to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Superintendent of Police, Chris Eza
(pictured above), yesterday February 26th in Bauchi.
According to family sources, Chris Eza had gone out to get food at an eatery along Ahmadu Bello way around 9pm when he saw some police officers on patrol. On observation, he found out that one of them, the suspect, was not properly dressed and immediately cautioned him. The junior officer, a Corporal, got angry and began to grumble for being told to dress properly.
An angry Chris felt his action was unacceptable and warned the officer that he was going to disarm him if he didn't take care. Instead of apologizing, the junior officer cocked his gun and threatened to shoot his boss.

There was pandemonium in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State on Wednesday afternoon when a motorcycle passenger suddenly ran mad and started stripping himself in public.
According to Leadership report, the passenger had boarded the motorcycle at Boundary market, Ajegunle, enroute Ojo road.
On the way, he suddenly started shouting and ordered the rider of the commercial motorcycle to stop.
When the rider stopped at Babani street junction, along Bale road, the passenger got down and started screaming, “my head! my head!!”

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with kidnapping after pupils noticed a remarkable likeness between the 17-year-old and her younger biological sister, who started attending the same school this year.
DNA tests have confirmed that the older girl is the daughter of Celeste and Morne Nurse, who was snatched from Groote Schuur hospital as a three-day-old baby named Zephany in April 1997..

Nigerian student goes missing in London
24 year old Nigerian Ozeivo Andrew Akerele (pictured above) has been
declared missing after he failed to return to his apartment from a night
out with his friends on January 30th.
According to police reports, Ozeivo, a new entrant at the Coventry University, UK was last seen at Iglu club on Spon street where he went to hang out with his friends. Coventry police believe Ozi had called after leaving the club to be picked up from wherever he was.

LASU refunds N209million school fees to students
The Lagos state government has refunded N209m to students of the Lagos
state University following the reversal of school fees by Lagos State
University, LASU.
At a ceremony held at the Main auditorium of the Ojo campus of the school yesterday February 26th, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Fatai Olukoga who represented Gov. Fashola, said this was the first phase in the refund exercise. He said the second phase of refund which is about N89 million will take place soon.

Ebonyi House of Assembly members serve Governor impeachment letter
Members of the Ebonyi state house of Assembly this morning served an
impeachment notice on the state Governor, Martin Elechi over allegations
of gross misconduct, financial impropriety as well as undermining the
integrity of the House members. At their plenary session this morning,
the acting leader of the House, Hon. Francis Nwifruru read the

Above is a photo of Captain Mbene Matute, the most senior Cameroonian
army officer who was killed during a battle with Boko Haram members on
Wednesday Feb 25th. He was killed after the vehicle he was riding in
with other colleagues struck a landmine, blowing up the vehicle. It
happened in Gamboru, a Nigerian town. He and another soldier died in the
incident.

A Nigerian girl identified as Gift from Edo state, (pictured above), has
been found dead one month after she gave an interview to PM News, about how she was trafficked to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso for prostitution.
According to PM News, Gift had told them in January 2015 during an investigative report on Human trafficking that she and some girls had been lured to Ougadougou in April 2014 with the hope of getting a better life in Europe but in the end were made sex slaves at the ‘Bar Dancing Petit Ouaga’, a brothel in Toudoubweogo village in Ouagadougou.
During the interview in January, Gift had expressed hope that once she has paid the traffickers their money, she would be free to leave. Sadly she has died. They didn't say how she died and when.
